Many people spend their entire lives to get their house the way they want it. Hours upon hours are spent selecting furniture, china patterns, and antiques. They work hard to be able to afford hardwood floors, a pool table, and a home theater system with surround sound and 60-inch TV. It takes a lot of work and money to make a house a home. And while they install locks and alarms to protect their treasures, they put very little energy into the most important part of the home protection—THE ROOF.
It’s time you expect more from your roof. A new traditional shingle roof does a great job of protecting your house from rain as long as there are no other factors. Unfortunately, they are susceptible to wind, fire, hail, and rot. So if a spring shower turns into a severe thunderstorm, a gust of wind, a streak of lightning, or falling hail can pierce or ignite the roof. Once the roof is penetrated, the house is vulnerable to most damaging element—rain. In just a couple hours everything you have can be ruined. The cost of roofing becomes astronomical when you consider all that was lost.
At Thomson Metals, Inc., our roofs are able to withstand winds of up to 200 mph and are impervious to fire, hail, and rot! While traditional roofs are nailed down and depend on tar to keep it in place, our steel roofs are screwed into place making it much more difficult for wind to pry off. This allows you to keep the inside in and the outside out.
